Email Collection - Go Green Initiative!
|

|

What if you could cut down on paper costs at your school?
What if you could quickly communicate with students and parents about upcoming school activities and important deadlines?
What if you could easily inform parents about school emergencies or outstanding student debts?
Through student email collection and our Tracks software, you'll be able to quickly and effectively communicate important information to students and parents at your school.
What are the benefits of email?
- Email is free. With no production, materials or postage expenses, you can easily and affordably communicate more information, more often.
- Email is fast. Time-sensitive information including student activity updates, school emergencies, student fee payments and much more can be sent and received within minutes, not days or weeks.
- Email is targeted. You can easily send emails to any select group of students and parents.
- Email is proactive. Now you don't have to wait for students to take fliers home. Our e-mail tool allows you to consistently reach out to parents about student activities, student debts, fundraising and donations.
- Email expands your reach. Increase your donations and fundraising efforts to your supporters and encourage them to forward the message onto their friends and family.

Email Collection Tips
|
|
|
 |
|
|
Maintaining and growing an e-mail database is a crucial factor in combating current budget issues, counteracting diving donations and bringing student payments online.
Here are some tips on how to easily collect email addresses:
- Ask for parents' email addresses when students bring money to their school bookkeeper or teachers.
- In your next flyer or newsletter, include an email form that can be filled out and mailed back to your school. See a sample here (MS Word doc).
- Make "email address" a mandatory field on all printed materials for student activities.
- At games and events, encourage attendees to offer their contact information.
- When you send emails to parents, ask recipients to forward the message to friends, relatives and co-workers so they, too, can get involved.
- Prominently place a contact list sign-up on your school website - details coming soon on how we can help with this!!
